Hosting

Cookies
This site uses no cookies or tracking tools and stores nothing in your browser. Fonts and scripts are served by the site itself, so there is nothing to accept. We count visits anonymously, on our server: the page viewed, where the visit came from (for example Google, an AI assistant or a direct link) and the type of device (phone or computer), without cookies, without IP addresses and without anything that could identify you.
The “Test your website” tool opens the page you enter for the duration of the test. We keep neither the address tested nor yours; we only count, per day, the number of tests and of points to improve (without the address), to publish overall statistics. To measure speed, the address of the site tested is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights. If you pay for an order, Stripe's payment page applies its own rules.
Who is responsible for your data?
Mint Company SRL (details above). For any question: hello@muffinstudio.be.
Businesses we contact (prospecting)
We look for local businesses using public information: their Google profile, their website and their social media. We use the business name, its town, its business phone number, its Google rating and its public photos (only to take its colours). We prepare a demo website and show it to the business: by e-mail, at its general address (for example info@), only for a company, saying where we found that address, or by phone.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering our services to businesses (article 6.1.f GDPR).
- Duration: information from Google is deleted after 30 days at the latest, as is the demo if it is not ordered. Our call notes are deleted after 12 months without an order.
- Objection: if you no longer wish to be contacted, tell us on the phone, reply “stop” to our e-mail or write to hello@muffinstudio.be. We then keep only your name and number, so as not to call you again.
Website requests
When you fill in the “Generate my site” form, the preview is built in your browser. We receive your answers (business, trade, town, services, style, colour), your contact details (name, phone, e-mail, VAT number if you give it) and, only if you ask for the full demo, your logo. We use them to prepare your demo and contact you about it.
- Legal basis: the pre-contractual steps you ask for (article 6.1.b GDPR).
- Duration: 12 months without an order, then deletion. The data stays at most a few days with our host (Cloudflare) before being moved to our computer.
- To prevent abuse, we calculate a fingerprint of your IP address, which changes every day, without keeping the address itself.
Clients and orders
When you order, we use your details (company name, address, VAT number, e-mail, phone) to carry out the order and issue the invoices.
- Legal basis: performance of the contract and our accounting and tax obligations (article 6.1.b and c GDPR).
- Duration: during the business relationship, then 10 years for accounting documents.
- Payment: payment is processed by Stripe. We never receive your full card details.
- Content of your site: through the launch form, you send us your texts, photos and logo. They are used only to make your site, stay with our host for a few days at most before being moved to our computer, and are kept during the business relationship.
Who receives the data?
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting of this site and the demos (United States, EU–US Data Privacy Framework).
- Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.: online payments (Ireland).
- Zoho Corporation: our e-mail and online booking, Zoho Bookings (data centre in the European Union).
- Accountable: our invoicing software (Belgium).
- Anthropic PBC: the artificial intelligence tools that help us prepare demos and follow up our contacts (United States, standard contractual clauses).
- Google: source of the public information in business profiles (Google Places).
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Transfers outside the European Union take place with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).
